Through contact, donation, symbolic-adoption and tourism-collaboration forms we may receive your name, email address, phone number, locality, company or organisation name, website, message, donation or adoption details, public-display preference, payment reference and voluntarily supplied materials.
Technical providers may process data such as IP address, browser type, date and time of the request, page address and security logs needed to host the site and deliver messages.
2. Why we use the data
We process data to answer enquiries, review proposals and partnerships, administer donations and symbolic adoptions, verify payments, send confirmations and keep the website functioning securely.
3. Legal bases
Depending on the situation, processing may rely on steps taken at your request, legal, tax or accounting obligations, or the Association's legitimate interests in communication, project administration, payment verification and security.
4. Providers and recipients
The website may use Netlify, Resend, Google, Banca Transilvania, OpenStreetMap and CDN providers. Data may also be disclosed to accountants, advisers or public authorities where required or legitimately necessary.

6. Retention
General enquiries and partnership discussions are normally retained for no more than 24 months after the last interaction unless there is a legitimate reason to keep them longer. Information relating to donations, adoptions, payments and accounting is retained for the periods required by applicable law.

We currently do not use our own behavioural-analytics or advertising cookies. We mainly use local storage that is necessary for functionality and remembering preferences.

pc_lang remembers the selected language. pc_cookie_consent remembers that the essential-storage notice has been acknowledged. Some symbolic-adoption steps may store temporary local state.
2. External resources
The tourism map loads OpenStreetMap and technical libraries through CDN services. Links to Google Maps and social networks open third-party services that apply their own policies.
3. Optional cookies in the future
If analytics, advertising or other optional technologies that require consent are introduced later, they will be disabled by default and will not load before the user makes a choice.

plaiulcucului.ro is operated by ASOCIAȚIA PLAIUL CUCULUI, fiscal ID/CIF 51679950, and presents Plaiul Cucului, visitor information, Association initiatives, donation and symbolic-adoption options and the regional tourism project.
2. Opening hours, prices and visits
Opening hours, prices, activities and access conditions may change because of season, weather, events or operational needs. Visitors should check recent information before travelling and follow venue and animal-safety rules.
3. Donations
Donations are voluntary and are made by direct bank transfer to ASOCIAȚIA PLAIUL CUCULUI, fiscal ID/CIF 51679950, Banca Transilvania, RON IBAN RO80BTRLRONCRT0CX9716201. The website does not collect card details.
4. Symbolic adoption
Symbolic adoption is a form of support and does not transfer ownership, possession or decision-making rights over an animal. Symbolic-adoption contributions are also paid to ASOCIAȚIA PLAIUL CUCULUI, using the same Banca Transilvania account, RON IBAN RO80BTRLRONCRT0CX9716201, with the adoption reference displayed in the flow. Adoption is confirmed only after payment and submitted details are verified. Renewal is not automatic.
5. Tourism project and map
The map, coordinates, descriptions, routes and opening times are informational and may change. Users must check real-world conditions and respect private property, site rules, signage and local law.
6. Intellectual property
Plaiul Cucului's own brand, visual elements, original texts, structure and materials are protected to the extent provided by law. Rights in third-party materials remain with their respective owners.
7. External links
The website may link to Google Maps, social networks and other external sources. We do not control the availability, content or privacy practices of those services.
8. Liability
We make reasonable efforts to provide accurate information and a functioning service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or the absolute absence of errors.
